L's and K's

In the world of Cameron and Dick Stevens (Katakana: カメロン・&・ディック・スティーブンズ),  television station names starting with L are usually found in stations located north of the Great Mountain Range (Japanese: 大山系 Daisankei), and those starting with K are usually found in stations located south of it, because the L is somewhat derived from the Banyumasan word lor, meaning "north," and the K is somewhat derived from the Banyumasan word kidul, meaning "south," in the same way as the American call sign K is somewhat derived from the Banyumasan word kulon, meaning "west," and the W is somewhat derived from the Banyumasan word wetan, meaning "east," just like what we have explained in the last post.
